Check In On A Mate (CIOAM) is a UK-based mental health non-profit dedicated to raising awareness and preventing suicide through sport, community, and conversation.

Founded after the loss of close friends to suicide, CIOAM encourages people to check in on those around them — reminding everyone that small conversations can have a huge impact.

Through charity sporting events, community talks, and awareness campaigns, we aim to break stigma, inspire openness, and make checking in a normal part of everyday life.

Together, we’re building a community where connection, compassion, and conversation save lives.
