Daniel Hackney

Daniel Hackney, CISSP, currently serves as a Security Architect at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd since December 2023. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Senior Security Engineer and Trainer at Structured Communications, Inc. from January 2007 to October 2023, focusing on information security consulting, auditing, integrations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and training. Daniel’s earlier experience includes roles as a Network Security Engineer at T-Mobile from September 2004 to January 2007 and Breakwater Security Associates from January 2001 to August 2004, along with a similar position at Universal Computer Systems from 1998 to 2000. Daniel earned an MISM in Information Systems Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University between August 2002 and July 2007, and a B.Sc. in Professional Aeronautics with a minor in Aviation Safety from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University from April 1996 to April 1999.
