Daniel Taney

Daniel Taney is an experienced cybersecurity professional currently serving as Manager of Architects for the US East region and Cyber Security Evangelist within the Office of the CTO at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd since August 2020. Prior to this role, Daniel held various positions at Check Point, including Regional Architect for both the US East and Mid-Atlantic regions. Daniel's experience also encompasses a tenure as Senior Network Engineer at Automated Financial Systems, Inc., where responsibilities included managing and implementing Check Point Firewalls across the enterprise. Daniel began a career in enterprise systems engineering at USLI, focusing on VMWare ESX virtualization environments and migrating legacy firewalls to Check Point. Daniel earned an Associate's degree in Information Technology from Penn State University between 2001 and 2004.
