Itamar Lask is an accomplished R&D leader with extensive experience in the technology sector. Currently serving as R&D Director for Email Security at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd. since September 2021, Itamar previously held the position of VP R&D at Avanan, where innovative cloud security solutions were developed until its acquisition by Check Point. Earlier roles include R&D Director at Amdocs, where a startup-like environment fostered the creation of next-generation solutions, and VP R&D at SafeCharge, specializing in enterprise payments. From 2007 to 2016, Itamar was VP R&D at CreditGuard Ltd., overseeing development and infrastructure for credit card clearance tools. Additional experience includes leading development at Xor Technologies and consultancy at Bank Hapoalim. Itamar holds a BSc in Computers & Operations Research from Tel Aviv University.
