Marcin Idec

Marcin Idec is a Security Engineering Team Leader at Check Point Software Technologies, Ltd., where they have been since 2023, after serving as a Security Engineer from 2019 to 2023. Prior to this, Marcin worked as a Network Engineer at Solidex S.A. and Integrated Solutions (part of Orange Polska) from 2010 to 2019. Marcin's early career included roles as a Network Administrator at Sopocka Szkoła Wyższa and Akademia Morska w Gdyni between 2007 and 2010. They hold a Master of Engineering degree in Informatics from Politechnika Gdańska, completed in 2006, and have obtained multiple professional certifications in security and networking.
