Daniel Read

Daniel Read is an accomplished CFO with a strong background in finance and accounting. They served as Group Finance Director at Cazoo from 2019 to 2023 and held various roles at ZPG, including Head of Financial Reporting and Group Reporting Manager. Currently, they are the Chief Financial Officer at Checkatrade, having previously acted as Interim CFO and then CFO at Streetbees from 2023 to 2025. Daniel began their career at PwC as an Audit Manager and later gained experience during a secondment in Australia. They earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the University of Warwick, graduating with first-class honors.
