PIA THOMPSON is the Founder and Fractional General Counsel of lawesomeGC, where support is provided to fintech companies in enhancing effectiveness, agility, and security. PIA serves as General Counsel for multiple lawesomeGC clients, including Checkbook, a versatile payments platform, and UpEquity, a veteran-owned real estate company focused on equitable home purchasing. PIA is a member of the Private Directors Association, the Conference on Consumer Finance Law's Governing Board, and TechGC, as well as a Charter Member of Fractionals United. PIA's educational background includes a BA in Economics and Political Science from Wellesley College and a JD from the University of Michigan Law School.
