Laura Saarma

Laura Saarma has an extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Laura currently works at Checkin.com as a Business Controller. Prior to that, they worked at KPMG in the Audit department from August 2018 to June 2022. Laura also gained experience as an Accountant at E-Residency Hub Oü from October 2021 to March 2022. Before joining E-Residency Hub Oü, Laura worked at Finnair as a Financial Accounting Specialist, General Ledger from November 2016 to August 2018. Laura also worked at CGI as an eProcurement Specialist from August 2015 to November 2016. Laura started their career as an Accounting and Finance Intern at Maag Grupp AS, where they had multiple internships from June 2013 to May 2015.

Laura Saarma holds a High School Diploma from Tartu Kivilinna Gümnaasium, which they obtained from 1993 to 2005. Laura then pursued a period of higher education at the University of Tartu, where they studied Law from 2005 to 2007. Laura continued their education at H.Elleri nim Tartu Muusikakool from 2006 to 2010, although the degree and field of study for this period are unspecified. In 2012, they enrolled at Tartu Vocational Education Center and completed a vocational education degree in Accounting and Financial Management, which lasted from 2012 to 2014. Laura later obtained a Diploma of professional higher education in Accounting and Financial Management from Lääne-Viru College, attending from 2015 to 2016. Most recently, they attended the University of Tartu from 2017 to 2020 and received a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree, specializing in Marketing and Financial Management.
