Carsten Huth

Carsten Huth, PhD, CISSP, CSSLP, serves as the Global Head of AppSec Advisory at Checkmarx since February 2016, having previously held positions as Technical Account Manager Team Leader and Technical Account Manager. Prior to Checkmarx, Carsten worked at Hewlett-Packard from November 2009 to February 2016 as Managing Principal of Fortify Services EMEA and Software Security Consultant. Carsten's earlier experience includes a role as Senior Consultant at Flexera Software and as Senior Research Officer at the University of Essex. Carsten obtained a Ph.D. in Computer Science and Economics and an M.Sc. in Computer Science from Paderborn University, completing studies from 1990 to 2004.
