Dor Tumarkin

Dor Tumarkin has several years of experience in the field of information security. Dor is currently working at Checkmarx as the Director of AppSec Research, a position they have held since February 2023. Prior to this role, they served as the Principal AppSec Researcher at Checkmarx from June 2021 to February 2023. Before that, they were the AppSec Research Team Leader at Checkmarx from March 2018 to June 2021, and a Security Researcher from December 2016 to March 2018.

Before joining Checkmarx, Tumarkin worked at Cisco as a Senior Information Security Consultant from April 2014 to October 2016. Dor also gained experience as an Information Security Consultant at Security Art from September 2011 to March 2014.

Earlier in their career, Tumarkin worked as a Bartender at Mate from 2008 to 2011.

Dor Tumarkin obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science and Business Management from Reichman University, which they attended from 2010 to 2012. Additionally, in September 2015, they obtained a certification as an Offensive Security Certified Professional (OSCP) from Offensive Security.
