Jason L. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Jason is currently working at Checkmarx as a Sales Enablement Leader, a position they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a Sales Engineer at Checkmarx from February 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining Checkmarx, Jason had experiences in the defense industry. Jason worked at Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) as a Branch Chief, Software Assurance from June 2020 to March 2022. Jason also served as a Cybersecurity Assessment Lead at the Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center from April 2019 to June 2020.

Additionally, Jason worked at Defense Commissary Agency, where they held various positions. Jason served as a Detect & Threat Intelligence Lead from October 2018 to April 2019 and as a Cybersecurity Service Provider - Program Manager (Interim) from May 2018 to October 2018. Jason also worked as a Computer Incident Response Team (CIRT) Lead from June 2017 to May 2018 and as a Security Operations Center - Technical Lead from May 2016 to June 2017.

Before their work in the defense industry, Jason worked at Prolific Solutions, LLC as a Systems Administrator / Information Systems Security Officer from November 2014 to May 2016. Jason also served in the Army National Guard as a Computer Network Defense Team Lead from July 2012 to March 2016.

In addition, Jason gained valuable experience as a Student at the University of Richmond from 2012 to 2014. Jason also had roles in the US Army, where they served as an Operations Manager from July 2011 to July 2012 and as a Vulnerability Assessment Lead from June 2011 to June 2012. Prior to their military service, they worked as a Senior Analyst in the US Army from June 2009 to June 2010.

Jason's early work experience includes being an Information Systems Specialist in the Army National Guard from December 2007 to July 2009, as well as serving as a Staff Advisor J6 / CIS Service Desk Supervisor at NATO from November 2006 to December 2007.

Jason L. has a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Information Technology Management from the University of Richmond. Jason received this degree in 2014. In addition to their degree, Jason has obtained various certifications in the field of information security. In 2015, they acquired the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². Jason also earned the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) certification from ISACA in October 2017 and the Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from ISACA in January 2018.
