Michael Fowler

Michael Fowler has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Michael is currently working at Checkmarx as a Technical Account Manager, responsible for managing the deployment and adoption of Checkmarx products in the Australia and New Zealand region. Prior to that, they worked at EY as a Technical Solutions Manager, where they were involved in deploying and upgrading applications and infrastructure for Forensics engagements and projects.

Michael's career began at the State Transit Authority of NSW, where they held positions such as Operational Systems Support Officer and Technical Support Officer. In these roles, they were responsible for system maintenance, server administration, software and hardware support, and telecommunications management.

Michael Fowler obtained a Master's Degree in Information Technology Project Management from Swinburne University of Technology from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology from RMIT University, where they studied from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, they have obtained several certifications, including EY Analytics - Data visualization - Bronze and EY Cybersecurity - Bronze from EY in August 2021. In April 2020, they became a Nuix Data Discovery Certified Master and Nuix Forensic Practitioner Certified Master. Michael also holds the Nuix eDiscovery Specialist certification. Furthermore, they have a Certificate IV in Frontline Management from TAFE NSW and an ITIL Foundation certification from PEOPLECERT.
