Vasco Miranda

Vasco Miranda began their work experience in 2017 as a Software Developer at Quidbox, where they worked until 2018. In 2019, they joined Hydra iT as a Developer and Technical Support, and remained in this role until 2021. Currently, Vasco is employed as an Application Security Engineer at Checkmarx.

Vasco Miranda completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Systems Engineering from Instituto Politécnico do Cávado e do Ave, graduating in 2017. Prior to that, they completed a Technological Specialization Course in Installation and Maintenance of Computer Networks and Systems from the same institute, which they finished in 2012. In addition to their formal education, Vasco Miranda has also obtained a series of certifications in the field of application security testing, including DevSecOps: Continuous Application Security, Improve Your Application Security Testing Skills, DevSecOps: Automated Security Testing, Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST), Programming Foundations: Web Security, Static Application Security Testing (SAST), Programming Foundations: Secure Coding, Learning the OWASP Top 10 (2018), and Security Testing Essential Training.
