Andy Cornforth

Andy Cornforth has a diverse work experience in the software engineering field. Andy started their career in 2016 as a Software Engineer at Checkout.com, where they developed software and eventually progressed to the role of Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they became an Engineering Lead and then advanced to the position of Engineering Lead II in 2020. Currently, they hold the role of Director of Engineering at Checkout.com, which they started in August 2021.

Prior to their time at Checkout.com, Andy worked at Clinical Solutions from 2014 to 2016 as a Software Developer. Andy was part of agile teams, collaborating closely with QA team members. Their responsibilities included developing international healthcare software, ranging from WinForms-based systems to WebAPIs and ASP projects.

Andy Cornforth obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of the West of England, where they studied from 2011 to 2014.
