Anthony Roe has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Anthony began their career as a Customer Service Advisor at Santander Consumer (UK) plc in 2004, where they handled customer queries and achieved sales lead targets. Anthony also mentored team members and provided feedback on call monitoring.

In 2008, Anthony joined the Student Loans Company as a Customer Service Advisor, where they dealt with general queries related to student loan applications. Anthony quickly advanced to a higher tier and handled more complex queries, demonstrating their expertise in the student loan process.

At Cashplus, Anthony held various roles. As a Risk Officer from 2011 to 2012, they investigated fraudulent activity, provided advice to customers, and developed collections strategies. Anthony then transitioned to the role of SQL Analyst from 2012 to 2016, where they produced reports, conducted monthly performance analyses, and created presentations using SQL server data. Finally, they worked as a Software Developer from 2016 to 2018, designing and developing internal workflow systems and RESTful API services.

Currently, Anthony serves as an Engineering Manager at Checkout.com since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer from 2018 to 2021. In this role, they developed C# applications using Dotnet Core and .Net Framework, utilized cloud hosted services through AWS, employed TDD and BDD testing strategies, mentored team members, and participated in Agile and Scrum development. Anthony also had extensive experience with SQL, Docker, and continuous integration and delivery tools.

Anthony Roe attended Teesside University from 2002 to 2005, where they pursued a degree in History. During their time there, they focused on studying topics such as Contemporary European History, The Reformation, and The French Revolution.
