Daniel Kliza

Daniel Kliza is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in risk management and operational processes across prominent companies. Currently serving as Business Process Manager for Merchant Risk at Checkout.com since August 2023, Daniel oversees various aspects of global underwriting, fraud, credit portfolio management, and compliance. Prior to this role, Daniel was Team Lead for Risk Investigations at Meta, where management of a specialized team led to a significant reduction in loss leakage in advertising. Previously at PayPal, Daniel held several positions culminating in Senior Team Leader, where efforts resulted in the prevention of over $3.5 million in losses and the establishment of a new risk analysis team during heightened fraud risks due to the pandemic. Daniel holds a Master’s degree in International Relations and Affairs and several professional certifications, including a distinction in the International Diploma in Financial Crime Prevention and Coaching Models of Practice.
