Puneet Dhal

Puneet Dhal has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries. Puneet has recently joined Checkout.com as an Engineering Manager in 2022. Previously, Puneet worked at Criteo from 2019 to 2021 as a Senior Software Engineer, where they led various projects including the revamp of Criteo public APIs and the development of a new API Authentication system and distributed Logging & Emailing system. Before that, Puneet worked at Talentsoft as a Technical Team Lead from 2017 to 2019, and as a Senior Software Developer in 2016, focusing on core software development for an HR SaaS solution. Prior to that, Puneet worked at KYOCERA Document Solutions France as a Software Development Engineer from 2013 to 2016, where they were responsible for end-to-end core software development, analysis, and design for web-based tools and solutions. Puneet's earlier experience includes working as the CTO at Megaventory Inc. from 2009 to 2011, leading a team in the development and support of a SaaS-based supply chain management system. Puneet also worked at Leafage Networks Pvt. Ltd. as a Lead Software Developer in 2008, and at Oracle India Pvt Ltd as a Solutions Specialist from 2004 to 2006. Puneet started their career as a Summer Intern at Aricent in 2003, where they worked on the development of conformance test plans and software automation. Overall, Puneet has a strong background in software development, project management, and team leadership.

Puneet Dhal has a diverse education history. In 2000 to 2004, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Information Technology at West Bengal University of Technology in Kolkata. Following this, from 2006 to 2007, Puneet attended Sierra Academy of Aeronautics where they completed Commercial Pilot Training with a focus on Aviation. Puneet then furthered their education in the field of finance from 2009 to 2010 at the Indian Institute of Commerce And Trade, obtaining a Post Graduate Diploma in Finance (PGDF). Lastly, in 2011 to 2012, Puneet attended Université Paris-Sorbonne where they acquired a certificate in the French Language.
