Robert Goheen

Robert Goheen has over 20 years of work experience in the software development field. Robert began their career at SeattleOnline as a Web Developer from 1996 to 1997. Robert then worked at Methodologie as a Lead Web Developer, where they were responsible for all technical aspects in the creation of websites for clients such as Boeing and Avista. From 1999 to 2001, Goheen worked at Avenue A as a Software Developer, leading the development of a large media management system.

Robert joined Washington Mutual in 2001 as a Senior Financial Software Developer, creating a .NET based counterparty risk management system. During their time at Washington Mutual, Goheen also served as a Senior Software Developer at JP Morgan in 2008.

In 2009, Goheen joined OpenVantage as a Senior Software Developer, where they served as the lead developer for their flagship product, overseeing the release process and mentoring junior developers. Robert then joined BP as a Senior Software Engineer and Architect, responsible for code quality and best practices in the gas trading division.

Finally, Goheen joined Pretero in 2006 as the Principal, where they designed and implemented optimal back-end software solutions for the consumer banking sector.

Robert Goheen obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Materials Engineering from the University of Washington. Robert then pursued a Master of Science in Engineering (MSE) degree in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University. Additionally, Goheen took several courses on Coursera, including the Machine Learning Course. However, no specific degrees or field of study were mentioned for these courses.
