Will Cheyney

Will Cheyney has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Will began their career as a freelance designer in 2004, working independently until 2006. Will then joined Poke, where they held various roles including Designer, Design Lead, and eventually Design Director. At Poke, they oversaw the design output for the agency and developed a longstanding relationship with the largest retained client, EE (formerly Orange). In 2015, they joined Engine as a Design Director, where they managed and developed a team of designers and worked with clients such as Amazon Fashion, Santander, Boots, and Microsoft. In 2018, they joined Skyscanner as a Design Director, playing a key role in redefining the brand and optimizing the product. Most recently, in 2020, they joined Checkout.com as the Director of Product Design, where they helped build a multidisciplinary design team and led design and product development for various pillars of the company.

Will Cheyney attended the University of Brighton from 2002 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts Honours degree in Digital and Interactive Media.
