Richard Haagensen is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at CheckProof, where they lead the development and execution of the company's product and technology strategy, ensuring alignment with business growth and innovation objectives. Previously, they held various leadership roles at Schaeffler, including Head of Partner Ecosystem and M&A, and Head of Global Go-To-Market Smart Energy Solutions. Richard began their career at TAC AB as a software engineer and has since gained extensive experience in technology management, product development, and strategic consulting across several organizations, including IBM and Landis+Gyr. They earned a Master of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from The Faculty of Engineering at Lund University and completed training as a Systemic Business Coach.
