Carman Chan serves as the Industry Ambassador at the HKUST Roger King Center for Asian Family Business and Family Office since March 2025. As the Founder and Principal of Click Ventures since September 2015, Carman managed a super Angel fund focused on early-stage tech startups, which has since transitioned into a single-family office to enhance support for the venture capital ecosystem. In addition to current roles as a Limited Partner at Leonis Capital and Shima Capital, Carman is an investor in Function of Beauty, Everlywell, Ginkgo Bioworks, and Checkr, all part of successful portfolios from various venture funds. Carman holds a Master's in Statistics and Probabilities and a degree in Pure Mathematics from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, along with a PhD in Financial Mathematics from Imperial College London.
