Jennifer Ng

Jennifer Ng is the VP of Financial Planning & Strategy at Checkr. Jennifer has over 10 years of experience in investment banking and private equity. Jennifer began their career as an analyst at Cowen and Company, where they worked on M&A, equity, and strategic advisory for restaurant and retail companies. Jennifer then moved to Piper Jaffray & Co., where they worked as an investment banking associate for three years. During their time at Piper Jaffray, they worked on the Zipcar IPO and Rubio's Restaurants take private. In 2013, they joined LNK Partners as a private equity associate. Jennifer spent two years at LNK Partners before moving to Square, where they were the finance & strategy lead. In this role, they were responsible for strategic planning and operations for the P2P car marketplace. Jennifer also owned the operating model to manage weekly business performance, identify optimization targets to get to market breakeven, and optimize car unit economics, cash forecasting, fundraising, strategic planning, and operational reporting. In 2016, they joined Shift Technologies, Inc. as their strategic finance manager. Jennifer spent one year at Shift Technologies before joining Checkr in 2017.
