Kelly Zerbe

Kelly Zerbe has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Kelly is currently working at Checkr, Inc. as a Senior Lead Designer, focusing on interactive design. Before that, they worked at Hatch, where they held two roles. As a Senior Brand Designer for Digital Experiences, they were responsible for implementing the design strategy for hatch.co and collaborating with e-commerce and growth teams. Kelly also led website foundational work and designed visuals for hatch. In their other role as a Senior Brand Designer for Marketing, they played a key role in evolving the brand and marketing design, established a style guide, and managed social media designers.

Prior to Hatch, Kelly worked at Brandless, Inc. as a Sr. Manager, Brand & Creative, where they managed a team and contributed to the brand's evolution. Kelly also worked as a Senior Brand Designer, updating print and digital deliverables and collaborating with product designers. Earlier in their career, they worked at Swirl as a Digital Art Director, focusing on web and interaction design, and also worked as a Designer, primarily handling print materials.

Kelly's career began with roles at Gap Inc./Old Navy as an Associate Graphic Designer and Freelance Graphic Designer. Kelly also gained experience as a Student Graphic Designer at Arizona State University (Eight TV/ AZ PBS) and as a Graphic Design Intern at Sae Design.

Kelly Zerbe attended Arizona State University from 2006 to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Design and a Bachelor of Arts degree. During their time there, Kelly focused their studies on Visual Communication and Design Studies, specifically in the field of Design Management.
