Kenan Herbert

Kenan Herbert is an experienced Senior Data Scientist currently working at Checkr, Inc. since May 2025, with a prior role at Truework from May 2019 to May 2025. At Truework, Kenan developed the Income Analytics product and implemented a quantile regression model for fraud detection and data quality assurance. Kenan's contributions also included creating the Quality Employee Profile score and building a job title standardization framework. Earlier roles at Truework included Associate Data Scientist, where Kenan automated regression model pipelines and designed the company’s first data lake. Kenan's professional journey began at Zendrive as an Associate Data Scientist and Data Analyst, following internships. Kenan holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology and is currently pursuing further studies at the University of Oxford. Additionally, Kenan has completed a mountaineering program through NOLS.
