Sara Fishman

Sara Fishman has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sara is currently working at Checkr, Inc. as a Global Payroll Manager since March 2023. Prior to this, they held positions at Checkr, Inc. as an Associate Payroll Manager from April 2022 to March 2023, and as a Senior Payroll Specialist from July 2021 to March 2023. Before joining Checkr, Inc., Sara worked at Gusto, where they served as a Concierge Service - Payroll & Benefits Expert from March 2019 to June 2021 and as a Payroll Advocate from March 2018 to March 2019. Sara also gained experience at Enterprise Rent-A-Car as a Management Staff from February 2016 to November 2017. Earlier in their career, Sara worked at Hastings College as a Graphics Director from August 2015 to December 2015, where they developed and updated graphics for live streams and broadcasts. Sara also served as part of the HC media team in Sioux City, producing and broadcasting athletic home games and working on the production team for the Division II NAIA women's basketball tournament. Additionally, Sara worked as a Tour Guide at Hastings College, giving tours to prospective students. Sara also interned at DIGITY Media as a Radio Host Intern and at KSNB Local4 as a Production Assistant. Sara started their career at Skyhawks Sports Academy as a Coach and Director, where they worked with campers to teach various sports and served as the onsite supervisor.

Sara Fishman attended Hastings College from 2012 to 2015, where they pursued a degree in Journalism with a Sports Emphasis. Sara'sfield of study focused on Communication and Media Studies.
