Derek Hammack

Derek Hammack has worked in various roles since 2013. Derek began their career with the US Navy as a Special Operations Medic (Strategist/Consultant) and a Special Warfare Boat Operator- SWCC (Program Manager/Engineer). In this role, they executed maritime special operations including insertion/extraction, reconnaissance, direct action, and various other mission sets in high-stress and ambiguous environments to further U. S. national security interests abroad. In 2019, they joined Elite Meet as a Member. Currently, they are working at CheckRed as a Product Development & Strategy.

Derek Hammack is currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs and Derek'story from Columbia University, which they began in 2019 and is expected to complete in 2022. Derek also has several certifications, including AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS), Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from Scrum Alliance, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA, Salesforce CRM from Trailhead by Salesforce, Practical Applications of Cyber Security (PACS) from Tradewind Technologies, Inc., Interagency Collaboration (18C) from Joint Special Operations University, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS), and Advanced Emergency Medical Technician, Critical Care from National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians, which they obtained in 2022, 2018, 2015, respectively.
