Pat Wheeler

Patrick Wheeler has an extensive background in CyberSecurity and currently serves as CheckRed’s CFO and VP of Business Development. For more than 30 years Mr. Wheeler has led Business Development, Sales, and Finance teams focused on revenue/customer growth and increasing shareholder value. Mr. Wheeler has extensive experience in M&A transactions, as well as capital raises in both the private and public markets. In addition to his current responsibilities at CheckRed, Mr. Wheeler is also a Strategic Advisor to Sunstone Partners and its portfolio company NetSPI.

Prior to Co-founding CheckRed, Mr Wheeler held Executive Business Development and/or Global Sales Roles at the following Companies: Akamai Technologies, Prolexic Technologies (Acquired by Akamai Technologies), Quest Software, eDMZ Security (acquired by Quest Software). Mr. Wheeler began his career at Price Waterhouse (PWC), and later at Harris Corporation where he had roles of increasing responsibility within both the Finance and Sales Organizations.
