Mark Poag

Mark Poag is the Co-Founder and General Partner at Fitz Gate Ventures, a network-driven venture capital firm currently investing from its third fund. Previously, they held senior roles at Datacert, Inc., leading various departments and contributing to its growth before its acquisition in 2014. Mark was also the Founder and CEO of DigiContract, Inc., which was sold in 2001. In addition to their investment work, they teach venture capital investing as an Adjunct Professor at Rice University and a Lecturer at Princeton University, where they received the Clio Hall Award. Mark is actively involved in several organizations, including serving as Co-Chair of the Princeton University Alumni Schools Committee of Houston.
