SVP, Customer Success at Chef

Joshua Crossman is the Senior Vice President of Customers and Operations at Chef Software. Joshua is responsible for Customer Success, Professional Services, Customer Engineering, Support, and Business Operations for Chef Software. Joshua has built CS, Services, and other customer-facing teams, cut churn by more than half, and was acquired by Progress Software.

Crossman previously worked as the Vice President at BrightEdge from December 2011 to April 2017. Joshua was responsible for existing customer sales in key segments and also creating and scaling the Client Services function at BrightEdge, including account management, professional services, technical integrations, and support. It is the largest and most successful team in the industry, advising over 1500 customers on digital and content marketing strategies, including over 50% of the Fortune 100, all large digital marketing agencies, and nine of the ten largest global retailers. Joshua led the SEO strategy and implementation for some of the world's largest organizations and is accountable for marketing strategy advice for BrightEdge's customers. In addition, they were also responsible for planning and development of BrightEdge corporate strategy, including fundraising, international expansion, acquisitions, and operational improvements.

Joshua Crossman attended Duke University, where they majored in biology and political science.
