Ben Tucker

Ben Tucker has extensive experience in engineering leadership, currently serving as Senior Vice President of Engineering at Chegg Inc. since July 2016, where previous roles included Vice President and Director of Engineering, as well as Staff Software Engineer. Prior to Chegg, Ben held the position of Director of Engineering and Partner at Green River from June 2008 to February 2017, and worked as a Consulting Software Engineer at Starbucks and Imagine Easy Solutions during the same timeframe. Ben co-founded Bibme.org, where the role of Lead Engineer was undertaken from 2007 to 2011, and also garnered experience as a web developer while freelancing from 1999 to May 2008. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, and Statistics & Data Mining from Carnegie Mellon University, earned between 2004 and 2008.
