Matt Calow has a diverse range of work experience. Matt began their career as a Lecture Theatre Technician at the University of Southampton in 2007. From there, they worked as a Sales and Stockroom Assistant at Next Group PLC for three years, where they demonstrated reliability, enthusiasm, and excellent customer service skills. Matt then transitioned to a role as a Highways Assessment Inspector at Leicestershire County Council, where they conducted surveys of road networks and collaborated effectively with their team. Following this, Matt worked at the Mercure Southampton Centre Dolphin Hotel as a Food and Beverage Assistant, gradually taking on the role of part-time supervisor. In 2012, they became an Architectural Design Assistant at N&JC Design before joining Farleygreene Sieving Technology in 2014. At Farleygreene, they worked in various roles including Graduate Design Engineer, Applications Design Engineer, Senior Research and Development Engineer, Senior Application Engineer, and finally as a Senior Testing and Training Engineer. Most recently, in 2023, Matt joined CheMastery Group Ltd as a Mechanical Design Engineer. Throughout their career, Matt has consistently demonstrated their expertise, adaptability, and strong work ethic.
Matt Calow completed their Master's degree in Engineering from the University of Southampton from 2006 to 2010. Prior to that, they attended Bosworth Community and Specialist Sports College from 2002 to 2006, where they obtained their GCSEs and A-Levels. In addition to their formal education, they also completed the Onshape Simultaneous Sheet Metal Course offered by Onshape, a PTC Technology, in April 2023.
