Alexander Thom

Alexander Thom, PhD, is a seasoned project manager currently employed at Chemify Limited since February 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a postdoctoral researcher at Ecole normale supérieure, where Alexander focused on novel metal-organic frameworks, and as a project scientist at Cambrex, where responsibilities encompassed lab-based chemical process research and client communication. Alexander earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Chemistry from the University of Glasgow, where contributions included inorganic synthesis and leadership as President of the Chemistry Society. Prior to doctoral studies, Alexander obtained a Bachelor of Science with First Class Honours in Chemistry with Medicinal Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and an HNC in Applied Science from the University of the Highlands and Islands.
