Lee Cronin

Lee Cronin has a diverse work experience spanning over several prestigious institutions and companies. Lee is currently the CEO-Founder of Chemify Limited, a position they have held since February 2022.

Prior to their current role, Cronin spent a significant portion of their career at the University of Glasgow. Lee held multiple positions at the university, including Regius Professor of Chemistry, Academic, Gardiner Professor of Chemistry, and Professor. These roles lasted from August 2002 to the present.

In 2015, Cronin served as the Founding Academic Director at deepmatter, a position they held until April 2019. Before their time at deepmatter, they were a Lecturer in Chemistry at the University of Birmingham from September 2000 to August 2002.

Cronin began their career as an Alexander von Humboldt Research Fellow at the University of Bielefeld from June 1999 to August 2000. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh from October 1997 to June 1999.

Lee Cronin completed their education at the University of York, where they earned a BSc(Hons) in Chemistry from 1991 to 1994. In April 2021, Lee Cronin obtained the certification of Fellow Chartered Chemist from the Royal Society of Chemistry.
