Sandra Urek Blatnik

Sandra Urek Blatnik is an Associate Director and Head of R&D Women Health at Chemo, a position held since April 2017. Previously, Sandra served at Krka from September 1998 to April 2017, where roles included Deputy Director of R&D and Production, Deputy Director of R&D and Head of Pharmaceutical Development, and Deputy Director of New Products Development, focusing on international contract development activities. Sandra's career began at the Jozef Stefan Institute, where responsibilities included working as a Regulatory Affairs Officer and researcher from February 1995 to August 1998. Academically, Sandra earned a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the University of Ljubljana between 2011 and 2015, and both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Chemistry and Technology from the University of Maribor from 1989 to 1998.
