Ryan Gilbert

Ryan Gilbert, PE has extensive work experience in various roles spanning multiple industries. Ryan is currently working at Chemtrade as the Director of Corporate Project Engineering. Prior to their current role, they served as the Project Team Manager at Chemtrade.

Ryan also has experience in academia as they worked at Rutgers University as a member of the Design Thinking Advisory Board.

Before joining Chemtrade and Rutgers University, Ryan held positions at General Chemical Corporation as the Director of Engineering for Water Chemicals and as a Senior Project Engineer. Ryan also worked at ZF Steering Systems as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer, at Erie Plastics as an Automation Engineer, at Crowes Inc. as a Project Manager/Engineer, and at Thermat Precision Technology as an Applications Engineer.

Their early career included roles at Crowes Inc. as a Project Engineer and at General Dynamics Electric Boat as an Acoustics Engineer.

Ryan Gilbert, PE holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. Ryan also attended Corry Area High School. Ryan later pursued a field of study in Manufacturing Systems Engineering at Penn State Erie, The Behrend College. Additionally, Ryan is a licensed Professional Engineer certified by the State of Georgia.
