Christopher Brown

Christopher Brown serves as the Chief Counsel for CHEMTREC® and is also the Assistant General Counsel for its parent organization, the American Chemistry Council, with a notable history of contributions since April 2018. Brown briefly held the position of Interim Chief Executive of CHEMTREC during a succession search. Previous experience includes serving as a Member at Ackerman Brown PLLC, focusing on litigation, dispute resolution, and non-profit advisement, as well as partnerships at Seeger Faughnan Mendicino, PC, and Jenkens & Gilchrist, where rights advocacy and complex commercial litigation were key responsibilities. Brown holds a Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law Houston and a Bachelor of Arts in Economics with a Business Minor from The University of Texas at Austin.
