Andy Gerard

Andy Gerard has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Andy started their career in the United States Marine Corps as a Corporal from 1998 to 2002. Andy then worked as an Intern at Cook & Haugeberg LLC from 2006 to 2007. From there, they joined KPMG as a Senior Tax Associate from 2007 to 2010. Andy subsequently worked at Rulien & Associates, LLC as a CPA from 2010 to 2013, and then as an Adjunct Faculty Instructor at the University of Alaska Anchorage in 2013. In the same year, they served as a Senior Manager at Suzanne M. Trimble CPA, APC for a brief tenure. Andy established their own firm, Trimble/Gerard CPAs, APC, where they were the Owner from 2014 to 2016. Andy then joined Chenega Corporation as a Division Controller II from 2017 to 2019. Later, they became a Senior Tax Associate from 2020 to 2022, and currently holds the position of Director of Corporate Tax at Chenega Corporation since February 2022.

Andy Gerard attended the University of Alaska Fairbanks from 2003 to 2007, where they pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree with a focus on Accounting. In 2008, they obtained the certification of a Certified Public Accountant from an institution identified as "8450."
