Brian Earl

Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellow

Brian Earl is a skilled medical professional and researcher with a diverse background in pediatrics and life sciences. Brian completed a Doctor of Medicine at the University of Toronto and is currently a Pediatric Resident at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario from July 2021 to June 2025. Prior experience includes a Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children and positions as a Teaching Assistant and Instructional Design Assistant focused on developing undergraduate courses for a new online Bachelor of Health Sciences Program. Brian's research experience spans several projects, including work in the Funk Lab at Queen's University investigating the GPRC6A nutrient sensor's role in disease and a previous research role in the Ito Lab studying drug secretion mechanisms. Recognized for academic excellence, Brian earned Dean's Honours with Distinction while obtaining an Honours Bachelor of Science in Life Sciences from Queen's University.
