Claudia Malic

Claudia Malic is currently the CQI Director and Vice Chair of Quality and Patient Safety in the Department of Surgery at the University of Ottawa. They also hold the position of Associate Professor in the Division of Plastic Surgery at the same institution and serve as a NSQIP Surgeon Champion at the Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario. Previously, Claudia directed the ECO European Cleft Organisation and completed specialized fellowships in pediatric plastic surgery and total burn care. Educated at the University of Leeds with a Doctor of Medicine degree, they expanded their expertise through a leadership certificate from Harvard Medical School.
