Heather Smith

Heather Smith has a diverse background in healthcare and administrative roles, currently serving as a Peer Support Leader for the Women@Heart program at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute since August 2024. Prior experience includes positions at CHEO, where responsibilities ranged from Facilities Coordinator to Program Administrator in Pediatric Endocrinology, contributing to a pediatric health organization recognized for its excellence in care. Previous roles include Executive Assistant at TeraMach, various staffing positions at Robert Half Finance & Accounting, and a Comptroller position at Westbridge Computer Systems. Heather holds a Public Relations degree from Algonquin College and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University of Alberta, alongside leadership experience as President of the Student Association at Algonquin College.
