Thomas Wismer

Thomas Wismer currently serves as the Director of Information Technology & Services at CHEO since March 2024. Previously, Thomas held several significant positions at Quest Software from July 2016 to April 2023, including Director of Information Technology Infrastructure, where responsibilities included overseeing 36 FTEs and managing IT infrastructure for a globally distributed user base. Thomas also served as Director IS Operations and Sr. Manager IS Operations, leading teams to enhance corporate IT services and implementing major projects such as cloud cost management and modern desktop deployment. Prior experience includes roles at Dell as a Systems Engineering Consultant and various positions at Quest Software, where foundational IT projects and service delivery were executed for a large employee base. Thomas began a career in IT as a Systems Administrator at FastLane Technologies. Education was completed at Runnymede College from 1985 to 1989.
