Zoe Ivan

Research Assistant

Zoe Ivan has a diverse background in both coaching and research, with experience as a Swim Coach for Greater Ottawa Kingfish Swimming and a Swim Instructor for the City of Ottawa. As part of the Amgen Scholars Program, Zoe participated in a fully funded biomedical research initiative at the University of Toronto. Currently, Zoe serves as a Research Assistant in the Medical Summer Student Research Program at the University of Ottawa, focusing on concussion research with Dr. Ledoux. Additional roles include Research Assistant positions at 360 Concussion Care and CHEO, as well as Coordinator of Volunteer Services at Carlington Community Health Centre, where responsibilities included managing volunteer contributions. Zoe also contributes to mental health research at CHEO in partnership with the Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa. Educationally, Zoe is pursuing an HBSc in Neuroscience and Mental Health at Carleton University and is enrolled in a Doctor of Medicine program at the University of Ottawa.
