David Maes has extensive experience in the IT and cybersecurity fields, currently serving as a GRC Auditor and NIS2 Cybersecurity Specialist at Cheops Technology since 2011, where notable achievements include the creation of a dedicated GRC role and the development of compliance assessment frameworks. Previously, in roles such as Senior System Engineer and Teamlead, David implemented complex ICT projects focusing on Microsoft and cloud technologies while applying PRINCE2 methodology. Prior experience includes consulting at AG SOLUTION GROUP and Xylos, as well as managing the Microsoft Exchange infrastructure for Monsanto Europe-Africa. David holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Sciences from IHAM Antwerpen.
