Javier Garate

Javier Garate is a seasoned finance professional with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis across various sectors. Currently serving as Senior Manager for FP&A Sales & Supply Chain at CHEP Europe since March 2020, Javier has previously held roles including Senior Manager for Logistics Finance Business Partner at CHEP USA and FP&A Manager for Region Support & Consolidation at CHEP Europe. Prior to joining CHEP, Javier worked at MAXAM from September 2011 to February 2020 in multiple roles, including FP&A Manager Business Unit (HQ), where Javier led a team within a business unit with over €800M in sales. Additionally, Javier has held financial controller positions in West Africa and Ghana as an expatriate, focusing on analytical accounting and fiscal management. Javier began a career in finance with an audit role at KPMG in early 2011 and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from CUNEF and a high school diploma from Lycee Francais Maurice Ravel in France.
