John Garland

John Garland is an experienced operations management professional with a career spanning over three decades. Since July 1999, John has served as the Senior Manager of Operations at CHEP, where responsibilities include oversight of plant operations at 29 vendor-operated reverse logistics centers and managing relationships at over 80 distribution centers, alongside people management, budget oversight, and project management. Prior to this role, John worked as the Regional Operations Manager, accountable for cost, quality, safety, and service across 18 facilities in multiple states. Earlier in John’s career, as Warehouse Manager at Gilardi Foods/Con Agra Frozen Foods from April 1992 to July 1999, responsibilities included managing a three-shift warehouse operation, people management, budget, and capital expenditures. John Garland holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from the University of Oklahoma, completed in 1988.
