John McKinney

John McKinney is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in investigations and asset protection. Currently serving as a Senior Corporate Investigator at CHEP since November 2022, John has successfully led multiple investigations related to theft, fraud, and trafficking of assets, contributing to the recovery of 1.6 million CHEP assets and significant financial improvements in loss management. Prior to that, John had a distinguished career in law enforcement, including a tenure as a Special Agent with the U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, where John managed investigations into transnational drug trafficking, and as a Sergeant with the North Port Police Department, overseeing investigations into various felony crimes. Additionally, John served as a Deputy Sheriff with the Charlotte County Sheriff's Office. Educational credentials include a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Hodges University.
