Michal Holub

Michal Holub, FCCA, is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in financial management and compliance. Currently serving as Senior Accounting Manager for R2R Controllership Europe at CHEP since November 2016, Michal has successfully led the transfer of activities to three Center of Excellence teams and achieved a significant reduction of outdated items on the balance sheet. Previously, as Finance Manager CE, responsibilities included transitioning local accounting functions to a finance hub for Central and Eastern Europe, resolving accounting issues, and ensuring smooth month-end processes. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Analyst in Accounting Operations at SITA, where Michal focused on compliance for key countries and addressed overdue filings, and as an Auditor at KPMG Czech Republic, known for efficient audit practices and enhancements to financial statement processes. Educational qualifications include an ACCA designation obtained between 2009 and 2016 and a Master’s degree in Corporate Finance and Valuation from Prague University of Economics and Business, earned from 2004 to 2009.
