Sunil Velaga

Sunil Velaga is an experienced professional with a robust background in asset management, digital transformation, and operations, currently serving as the Asset Productivity Owner for North America Serialization at CHEP since December 2008. Sunil has led multiple teams and initiatives, including the successful implementation of a Control Tower for customer account health, AI-based tools for enhanced customer experience, and the management of over 5 million assets across India. With a blend of expertise in strategic planning and operational excellence, Sunil has established new business units, managed high-value OEM accounts, and introduced innovative solutions that significantly improved asset turnover and productivity. Educational qualifications include a Postgraduate Program in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning from Texas McCombs School of Business, an MBA in General Management and Operations from SPJIMR, and a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University.
