Chet Erwin serves as the Chief Executive Officer of CherCo since October 2020, bringing extensive experience from prior leadership roles. Chet founded Cogent Energy Services, serving as CEO from September 2016 to October 2020, focusing on a comprehensive service model for well performance and production field services. Before that, Chet established Diverse Energy Systems in March 2012, leading the company as CEO until January 2016, with a mission to support oil producers in the Bakken Shale play. As co-CEO of Valerus Compression Services from its founding in 2004 until 2012, Chet transitioned to CEO and Chairman, steering the company’s growth. Additionally, Chet was a founding partner of Hanover Compression Company, serving as President and COO, where Chet played a key role in its rise to market leadership and successful IPO.
