Tim Cavender has over 30 years of experience in public affairs and communications. Currently serving as the Director of Public Affairs and Public Information Officer for Cherokee County since August 2003, Tim has previously held the position of Manager of Public Information, Marketing, and Economic Development at Amicalola EMC from February 1987 to February 2000. Additionally, Tim worked as Operations Manager at WCHK Radio for 13 years, during which time received a nomination for Disc Jockey of the Year by Singing News Magazine. Tim is a graduate of Cherokee High School.
